Incontri di Fisica Moderna – Meetings on Modern Physics is a training course organised by the National Laboratories of Frascati for teachers of scientific subjects in secondary schools.
The course is dedicated to an in-depth study of the experimental aspects of teaching modern physics and includes a short theoretical part and a practical part.
In the theoretical part, the historical context in which modern physics has developed is framed and the key passages are addressed. These are then developed and explored through experiments in the practical part, in which the participants, divided into small working groups, carry out three different experiments themselves.
